IC Verification Engineer

Our client is looking for a talented verification engineer to focus primarily on microelectronic technologies, by means of RTL implementation and use of Verilog and VHDL. This rapidly expanding company focusses on some of the most popular consumer electronics on the market, specialising in semiconductor technologies, consumer electronics and multimedia applications.

This position will involve working within a consultant capacity to support and instruct various teams on verification practices and methodologies. This will involve carrying out hands on verification work for a variety of different projects of our clients' internal divisions. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in hardware verification processes.

Required Skills Include:

-Experience with Verilog and VHDL

-Track record of EDA tool use, such as Cadence

-Familiarity with RTL

-Knowledge of scripting languages such as TLC, Perl or Python

-A proven track record working in a Linux environment

-A good grasp of documentation creation.

-Experience with verification methodologies, verification planning, tracking and development

-Experience with formal verification using SVA ABV and model checking

Desired Skills Include:

-Exposure to large scale verification, to include abstraction and problem reduction methods

-Knowledge of SoC, IC and IP

-Familiarity with SystemC

-Exposure FPGA prototyping

-Experience with static timing analysis and Logic synthesis.

Qualifications:

BS/MS in computer science or related discipline
