The Role
Oracle Developer position
Main Duties
- Writing technical design documents
- Indexing
-Stored Procedures
- Triggers
- Table Partitioning
- Hands on development of quality PL/SQL code on Oracle 11g databases
- Ensure code written meets predefined company and department standards
- Performance Tuning
- Execution of unit test cases and documentation of results
- Packaging up codes for release into production
-3rd line support activities will include: documentation production, developing required code to fix production issues
- break down production issues logical problem components and proceed methodically towards resolution
Person Requirements
Excellent development background in Oracle, PL/SQL
Strong knowledge on UNIX environment and scripting skills
Quick learner; strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Experience in executing Test Cases and documentation of results
Extremely organized, excellent oral and written communication skills
DBA Background would be highly advantageous!
