MOD Demand & Supply Manager/MOD Supply Manager/Supply & Chain Manager

My Gloucestershire based client is seeking a MOD Demand & Supply Manager/MOD Supply Manager/Supply & Chain Manager for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.
Key Tasks for the MOD Demand & Supply Manager/MOD Supply Manager/Supply & Chain Manager:
* Provide data/reports to Head of Site to enable then to manage the business.
* Manage the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process
* Control attrition stocks and support to operations worldwide.
* Work with the Commercial Manager and Key Account Managers in establishing the Demand.
* Deliver the Demand and NSP requirements into and throughout the Business Planning Processes.
* Interface with Customers on Demand, Supply and NSP issues.
* Control and be accountable for the bid management of tender submissions for new business.
* Produce strategic reviews of existing work, to include collating the required information and arranging the reviews.
* Maintain a good working relationships with all internal/external customers.
* Produce timely and accurate management information as requested.
* Ensure that the Customer Relationship database (ACT) is current and accurate with regard to NSP and Demand activities.
* Manage the team and monitor/report on team performance.
* Attend regular Senior Management Meetings and brief on his/her areas of responsibility
Experience/Knowledge Required for the MOD Demand & Supply Manager/MOD Supply Manager/Supply & Chain Manager:
* A good working knowledge of MoD, DE&S, AHQ, DG LE
* Experience of MOD Supply Chain Management
* Knowledge of MOD IT Systems
* An understanding of capabilities and repair facilities.
* Competent IT Skills
* Understanding of ERP principles
* Experience of customer relationship management.
* Proven negotiation skills.
* A sound background in Sales and Operations Planning.
* Commercial awareness.
* Legal awareness.
* Knowledge of Ministry of Defence contract terms and conditions.
