Citrix NetScaler Engineer
Responsibilities for the Citrix Engineer:
* 3rd line support and work on projects for the UK Citrix and App-V environments.
* To ensure ongoing stability of the companies Citrix farms.
* Be an escalation point for 3rd line Citrix or App-V related issues.
* Be able to quickly identify and remedy escalated issues.
* Be an important member of the global team.
* Be able to translate architectural designs into an engineered solution.
Technical Skills required for the Citrix Engineer / XenApp / Provisioning Services:
* Hands on experience installing, administering and troubleshooting XenApp 5, XenApp 6 and XenApp 6.5
* Hands on experience administering and maintaining Citrix Provisioning Services 6.1
* Exposure to Citrix NetScaler with AGEE
* Understanding of Web Interface and Citrix StoreFront.
* Understanding of profile management technologies.
* Administering and troubleshooting Microsoft App-V 4.6.
* Understanding of hypervisor technologies such as XenServer and VMware.
* Expertise in Windows server operating systems
* Expertise of server hardware infrastructure and working in datacentre environments.
* Hands on experience of Windows Server deployment and configuration
