Description
Our client is a leading digital communications organisation based in the Melbourne CBD and currently seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month period!
In this role you will be required to support application delivery into the organisation through installation, configuration and the maintenance of Unix and Middleware systems. You will also be required to liaise strongly with the delivery team and collaborate with various stakeholders in delivery projects.
In order to successfully obtain this role, you will required the following backgroud and experience:
- Proven track-record in working in an application and/or systems development and implementation type role.
- Great understanding of IT SDLC life cycle phases, in particular development, testing and deployment automation
- Strong experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong hands-on experience with Unix, Linux or Solaris platforms
- Ability to script (preferably with Perl or Shell)
- Automation tool experience with Puppet or Chef
