My client a well know managed service company are seeking an experienced Network Architect and Integration Lead for one of their clients. This is a combination of the standard Architect and the Netweaver Architect role
You will be responsible for translating project needs into a design suitable for the complex network landscape. You will need to make sure that the solutions conform to the architectural integrity and consistency of the company's standards and function to the desired levels of performance, reliability and scalability. Your will also be responsible for overseeing activities to ensure that all components of the solution deployment process will successfully integrate to deliver the required business objectives. Determine gaps in any proposed technical solution and oversee the resolution process of such gaps, including deployment of user exits, custom development projects, 3rd party software solutions or alternative configuration required to close identified gaps.
You will serve as the single project point within the project for expertise and knowledge of networking products and services, as well as to assist in the overall planning of the business and processes to ensure the effective delivery and implementation of these technologies.
SAP NetWeaver Technology Requirements:
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, govern and function as the subject matter expert in SAP NetWeaver Technology
- Establish and assist on the strategy for design, deployment and maintenance of SAP NetWeaver architecture
- Provides technical expertise across all organizations in the area of SAP NetWeaver
- Leads in developing complex logical and physical application architectures
- Analysing and implementing strategic and innovation solutions with the SAP NetWeaver platform
- Oversee and track NetWeaver technologies to be implemented Produce process improvement details and plans for SAP NetWeaver landscape life cycle maintenance
- Create architecture documentation as well as perform presentations for stakeholders
- Ability to provide deep dive technical skills and guide support teams with high priority incidents pertaining to the SAP NetWeaver platform
Mandatory Skills are:
Have at least 8 years hands on experience in network solution design and deployment, including Cisco, LAN, WAN LAN technologies, DHCP/DNS and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP, Network Security such as Firewalls (Checkpoint NGX, Juniper JunOS), IDPS, IPSec, Internet Security, Encryption, AAA, RADIUS/TACACS, SNMP, ACL, Knowledge on Proxy, Load-Balancer (F5 LTM, Citrix Netscaler), BlueCoat Proxies & Riverbed solutions.
Experienced with DataCenter network design, WAN optimization & network virtualization with a large scale global enterprise.
