Currently looking to hire a Senior Insurance and Risk Analyst for a hospital within the healthcare industry in the Bay Area. The Senior Insurance and Risk Analyst must have corporate risk management experience and an understanding of the commercial insurance market.Job responsibilities include:
* Manage the operational aspect of the complex insurance programs
* Determine scope, objectives, and procedures to be performed for each assignment
* Implement and maintain insurance programs
* Design operation objectives for support of insurance management, risk evaluation, and analysis
Required skills and knowledge:
* 7+ years of corporate risk management experience
* Understanding of the commercial insurance market and risk financing
* Previous analytical experience within the healthcare industry
* GAAP accounting knowledge is preferred
* Bachelor's degree
* 3+ years of professional experience within the healthcare industry
