Description
Responsibilities:- Firmware design and development on our client's next generation camera platforms
- Work with local and overseas firmware teams to guide and coordinate the firmware development effort based on defined architecture
- Work closely with hardware team and chip vendors to validate hardware, driver development
- Camera framework and application development, Integration and release management
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering or computer science BA/BS degree; MA/MS preferred
- 6+ years of hands-on industry experience developing embedded applications for portable consumer electronics products
- Expert C programming experience, understanding of embedded system development methodologies for RTOS (i.e. vxworks, nucleus, ThreadX, etc.)
- Familiar with firmware development in the following areas: Audio Video Framework, Power management, display interface, Peripherals etc..
- Good understanding of tasks, threads, inter-process communications and other typical embedded operating system concepts and debugging methodologies
