Core Java Developer - Fixed Income - London- £550-£650

A top tier investment bank requires a strong Core Java developer with Fixed Income knowledge to join a fast growing team. The Core Java developer role is highly business facing so will allow the opportunity to gain more extensive business knowledge around Fixed Income and FX Trading/ E-Trading.

Working directly on the trading platform the Java developer will require extensive multithreading, high-frequency / low latency experience as well as ideally financial messaging (FIX/Tibco etc.) knowledge.

The chosen Java candidate will also ideally possess working knowledge of Fixed Income working within an investment bank.

This will be working in the heart of the city fitting into a very interactive and collaborative team you will be working with Core Java on highly multithreaded applications.

The role sells itself in the extensive exposure to the business gained as well as the very exciting technical stack.

It is very varied technically so allows the chance to up skill in a number of areas.

The team is very interactive so a good team player is required. Due to the interactive nature of the team excellent inter-personal and communication skills are highly preferred.

Successful candidates will have these essential Skills

Core Java Development

Multithreading

Fixed Income/ E-Trading

TDD Test Driven Development or BDD

High-frequency / Low latency
