Our client are one of the most notable and successful Investment Banks in the world and are keen to maintain their status through maintaining and increasing controls over all relevant and potential risk. This position is focusing on auditing IT hardware and infrastructure.

IT-Audit, risk and controls are central to banking operations now more than ever. This has been demonstrated by the sharp upturn in the number of Technology Audit positions being released to Real Staffing over the last 2-3 months.

Relevant IT- Audit candidates will have an solid background in delivering technical IT-audits hailing ideally from an Internal IT audit department or an IT department maintaining a broad / SME understanding of the risks facing an array or hardware including but not limited to; Windows, Unix and AS400 operating systems, SQL, Oracle and DB2 databases, networks, pre / post system implementations and data migration (analytics / CAATS).

Specific qualifications and skills required to operate in this role including, CISA, CISSP, CISM or any relevant technology associated certification such as CCNA. Stakeholder management and exemplary communication skills are essential and play a key role in influencing and working in collaboration with the business as translating IT risk into business risks is an essential aspect of this position.

As would be expected from a key player in the investment banking field based in Canary Wharf the remuneration and associated package on offer is highly competitive with the markets offering.
