Description
My client a leading Australian employer is looking for a number of Mainframe developers to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Research, consult stakeholders and analyse and evaluate system program needs.
- Write and maintain program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality-accredited standards.
- Write, update and maintain technical documentation.
- Test, debug, diagnose and correct errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specifications.
- Consult and liaise with stakeholders in relation to business requirements, functionality, content, scope, delivery of projects.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrated Mainframe development experience;
- Demonstrated good working knowledge of the SDLC;
- Demonstrated experience in working on projects comprising complex transactions and large multiple databases;
- A commitment to training into M204; and
- Australian Citizenship
