Description
This major player in the Defence & Security sector has an immediate requirement for an interim Transition Lead (Programme Manager) to form part of a £500 million bidding team. The bid programme is associated with the replacement and through life support of rotary wing assets.
Leading the design and ongoing management of the mobilisation activity from bid start through to June 2018. Leader of implementation and transition strategy. Key interfaces with Prime Contractor, OEMs and all support functions. Critical in the effect management of operational risk associated with achievement of Initial Capability Commencement. Must be capable of working with Technical and Engineering teams to interpret solution design into milestones and deliverables.
Desirable experience
5 - 10 years' experience of delivering complex programmes integrating individual stove piped solution designs into one overarching optimum programme. Excellent communication skills, good customer management and previous knowledge in the domain are clear advantages.
Initial contract is for 3 months with strong potential for extension.
