OTC Clearing Project Manager - Operational Change  CCP Clearing house Fixed Income

Project Manager is required for an Investment bank who will be working with a OTC Clearing Project team and the Programme Manager, who will be responsible for the OTC clearing programme:  The Project manager will have 6 to 12 years experiences. Experience in projects related to Operations change. Fixed Income Derivatives/OTC clearing/Listed experiences. Project and process experience. Must have strong CCP and Clearing house knowledge.

Role:

Key responsibilities include

Co-ordinate the onboarding process of the banks new clearing houses (CCPs) in line with Business requirements and prioritisation
Maintenance and evolution of existing CCP relationships - ie process enhancements and ensuring that the Investment bank can continue to operate effectively which each CCP we are a member of

Management of cross-CCP/cross-asset projects designed to support new activity or enhance existing processes
Liaison with key stakeholders from other functions globally to ensure efficient sharing of knowledge
Liaison with external industry-wide groups and be able to represent the Investment Banks views (particularly with CCPs & Middleware/affirmation platform vendors)

Complete organisation projects related to FI Operations, through direct management or coordination of various actors involved in project streams, agreeing with the sponsor the business requirements and benefits expected;
Collecting with the users involved the data relating to the issue;  analysing the processes and the measures;
Proposing solutions in cooperation with the users; assisting users in the implementation of the solutions;
Ensuring respect of deadlines and controlling the results obtained; providing reporting on projects and share related information within Fixed Income operations and IT (project update, business case calculation)
Contribute to systems implementation in liaison with IT and respective Operations Department Heads: performing a stakeholder role in some transversal projects; ensuring the user's needs are coherent across operations; analysing and specifying requirements for new systems; assisting users to get processes adapted; assisting users for conversion plan, training, testing, procedure and go-live; - proposing organisation and procedures which will make optimum use of the system. Contribute to the day to day efficiency of Operations departments: implementing tools to follow up volumes, productivity, costs and service quality; proposing solutions to day to day problems as far as systems and procedures are concerned; suggesting system enhancements or investment opportunities; identifying missing procedures or operational control documents; producing standards for documentation (procedures, check list, job description) co-ordinating operations units to minimise operational risk.
