Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Local Polish speaking OSS Project Manager for a 12 months contract in Poland Warsaw. YThe ideal consultyant will have Domain specific experience -OSS (Fulfillment, Assurance, EAI).

The senior Project Manager will deliver and grow projects and programmes within all areas of business. Projects will vary in nature including software development projects or implementation projects but ability to work with the client and identify new opportunities is key. The projects will frequently involve business transformation.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

Deliver customer projects, supporting a variety of business and functional requirements.
Lead projects throughout their entire life cycle, from initiation to customer acceptance

MAIN ROLE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take responsibility for the delivery of complex projects, leading project team members from company, customers and third-parties as required
Establish and manage realistic project, quality and risk plans. Monitor and control team performance against each element of the work-breakdown structure,
Act as the primary point of contact for the delivery of the project. Manage the project stakeholders effectively within the customer, company and third-parties, based on the project communications plan. Set and manage expectations appropriately
Control resources and costs against the project budget. Ensure that change control procedures are actively used to assess and manage the impact of proposed changes to the project on costs, timescales and scope
Lead diverse project teams, allocating and monitoring tasks, motivating staff and providing input to individual performance appraisals
Ensure that projects are formally accepted and closed by the customer, and that all project deliverables and documentation are completed to the required standard
Provide feedback on project team members, and input to regular performance reviews as requested. Advise line managers on the development and training needs of project staff.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

Extensive international customer project management experience with proven responsibility in all phases (pre-sales, pre-study, project delivery) is essential.
A proven track record of leading the end-to-end delivery of projects within complex IT telecommunications or systems integration environment.
Significant experience of virtual line management of large multi-disciplined and multi-country teams including outsourced development using both on-shore and off-shore models, and the inclusion of third-parties and customers within the project team
Domain specific experience OSS (Fulfillment, Assurance, EAI)
Proficient in the use of project management tools (tools to automate tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing and time recording). Experience of project planning and control techniques (such as work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis and conflict resolution) and project risk management (identifying, assessing and managing project risks that could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver)
Proficient in contract negotiation, with a sound understanding of the methods and techniques for negotiating contracts for the supply of products and services and techniques to ensure that contractors adhere to agreed contract requirements.
Exceptional personal initiative, leadership, motivational and organizational skills, as well as well-developed planning, communication and commercial skills. Sound knowledge of methods for reporting project progress and financial compliance against an agreed plan.
Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills in customer facing environments. Can demonstrate organizational awareness and knowledge of how to build successful cross-functional teams. Understands the importance of both internal and customer stakeholders, identifying influencers and decision makers.
Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of a company going through dynamic and significant growth
Budget control and proven track record of managing medium to large projects with a budget of excess of £half a million
Experience of contributing to proposals/bids
PMI/IPMA/Prince2 certification is an advantage to take the position

QUALIFICATIONS
Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably accompanied by a project management qualification (Foundation Certificate in PRINCE, Project Management Professional, Member of the Association of Project Managers, Certificate in Project Management, MSP, PMP, etc).
