Security Officer
Start: ASAP
Location: Amsterdam
Duration: 6 - 9 months + possibility to go perm
Languages: English (must), Dutch (preferred)
The Senior Information Security Officer is responsible for the ensuring that the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Information Assets of our client in the Netherlands (inclusive the subsidiaries) are appropriately protected. Certain services are delivered world wide.
Leads a team, develops and delivers Information Security products/services and provides advice, guidance, support, procedures and tools to projects, system owners, COO/OSM (as first line of defence) and businesses, in order to enable them to comply to in- and external Information Security regulations. Specific for IT Solutions the Senior Information Security Officer also executes tasks, for example risk control and risk assessment.
Experience
8+ years experience in IT
4+ years experience in information security
2+ years experience as a participant in IS policy development
Experience as a project manager or program manager (preferred)
Track record of creating and reviewing IS compliance documents and reports
Experience in ITIL and change management
Experience with rules and regulations (eg SOXA, WBP, ROB, BASEL, CAAML)
Track record of representing the ISO agenda or Information Security requirements with other groups
Track record of delivering against ambitious timelines
Substantial experience in leading the development or improvement of ISO services
Experience in leading a (small) team of professionals
Experience in business requirements analyses
Experience with IS issues specific to a single line of business
Experience with bottom-up improvement of processes or services
Experience working in a multi-vendor IT sourcing environment
Experience working with individuals and teams from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Experience in the banking and/or financial services sector
