Our global pharmaceutical client is currently investing in one of its key manufacturing sites in order to increase production capacity. To support this investment they are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the CAPEX spend.This is an exciting opportunity to support the realisation of several large scale projects.
Location: Antwerp region, Belgium
Duration: 6 months initial contract, extension possible.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Supporting the engineering department in the purchasing of equipment
• Managing supplier tenders
• Negotiating with equipment vendors
• Carrying out strategic procurement overviews.
Requirements:
• Procurement experience on CAPEX engineering projects
• Experience buying production equipment
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch beneficial.
