I am currently recruiting for a very interesting role with one of my software vender clients who produce a software solutions for the fund management industry.This is project based work where you will be required to work in a team on a set of data feeds from the clients system to integrate with the vendors software. The software is build using there own structured proprietry language and therefore both a background in strutured programming and a willingness to learn their language is essential.
My client are willing to pay around £400 per day on the basis of a six month rolling contact based in central London.
Key responsibilities of integration programmer:
-Coding using companies own proprietary language for their product
-Developing code for software integrations
-Writing ETL packages
-Database queries and report writing
-Communicating with the business on project based work.
Key Abilities of 'integration programmer:
-Background in at least one structured programming language (java, c#, c++)
-Ability and willingness to learn a new structured programming language
-Exposure to database development and ETL such as T-SQL and SSIS
