Windows Server Engineer:
Server Engineer required for a Microsoft Environment based in Crawley. Enterprise level client that has over 3,000+ employees. Enterprise level support role. Ideally looking for somebody with 4+ years in Third Line Microsoft Support/Server Support.

Currently recruiting for a Senior IT Support Specialist, responsible for managing the physical and virtual Windows environments, undertaking the required server administrative tasks and actions to maintain the system such as Domain Controllers, Active Directory, server patch management and printing.
Based in our office in Crawley, the successful candidate will be expected to assist with user support tasks as and when required, undertaking any project related work where necessary, which calls for strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues relating to desktop/laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, printers/scanners/copiers and other desktop related equipment.
Management of VMware ESXi environment and virtualized Servers along with good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager 2012 and the ability to administer and manage DHCP & DNS will also be required.
Server Engineer Required Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and/or a qualification in IT, with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, along with experience in providing desktop support in a Windows 7 environment.
The role will require an enthusiastic, reliable team player with the ability to document technical solutions and processes, who is able to share knowledge and experience within the team and have the ability to prioritise work and multi-task, including urgent support issues.
Strong communication skills are paramount to the role, with the ability to liaise directly with customers and suppliers, ensuring confidentiality and reliability of corporate data.
Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup 7.5 and apple Mac OS X and experience with Citrix XenDesktop VDI solutions would be advantageous but not essential.
On-call duties may be required along with occasional short durations of travel.
