SOLUTION ARCHITECT
As a Solution Architect you will work with client Architects and business teams to ensure that solutions are effective and deliver against the clients overall Business strategy.
You will have proven experience in fulfilling a wide range of solution level architecture activities. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate good knowledge of both Architecture and Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver class leading solution architecture and quality consulting to Glue's clients.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Preferably an understanding of more than one industry sector enabling you to empathise with the challenges these clients face in the Retail sector (eCommerce, Store Systems, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Payments),
SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE EXPERIENCE
- Confidence to present solutions and influence key stakeholders
- Owning and creating complete Solution Architectures including all associated documentation
- Ensure that solutions will meet budgetary constraints
- The production of evaluation criteria used to short list suppliers during product selection
- Preferably experienced in at least one Architecture framework (eg TOGAF, Zachman, MODAF, IAF etc.)
- MUST HAVE knowledge of the Oracle Retail solution

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to professionally deal with difficult, highly political workplace situations, with minimal peer-support
- Good personal organisation, productivity and time management skills
- Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible attitude to work
- Demonstrable confidence and enthusiasm about technology and/or innovation and/or problem solving
