Senior Procurement Process Manager - 6 months - Nottingham - Negotiable Rates

A Leading Energy and Utility client of Hyphen is looking for a Senior Procurement Process Manager

Job Purpose:-
To on delivering the best solutions and securing the best deals that makes having an efficient and effective Procurement function so vital to our success. As our Senior Procurement Process Manager, you'll be responsible for the strategic rollout of new processes within our Procurement Coordination team at a time when the entire business is undergoing a major, value-driven change programme.

We're looking for someone with the experience, passion and gravitas to be a champion of procurement processes across the business. That means you're going to need to draw on your well-honed influencing skills to sell process changes in, and to get buy-in for the long-term implementation of those changes. Throughout all of this, you'll be looking to continuously improve our procurement processes, whether you're developing new solutions or refining existing ones to make sure they're best in class. We'll also need you to coach the wider team.

Essential skill requirements
*Previous procurement experience - we're looking for someone who can lead by example and inspire the teams around them.
*A detailed understanding of purchasing and supply chain issues, and category management practices.
*A detailed understanding of P2P process and efficiency drivers to automise the process
*A good working knowledge of SAP.
*An understanding of the benefits of e-sourcing and e-auction approaches, and how to drive their development and adoption.
*Excellent coaching skills - you'll be able to train our UK Procurement team on how to use our processes consistently and effectively.
*A proactive approach to relationship management - you'll work well with clients, third parties and external stakeholders to improve our process efficiency and service delivery.
*The ability to propose and develop new ideas and processes for improving the effectiveness of the UK Supply Chain team.

Desirable skills

*A strong enough knowledge of IT to be able to support the development, maintenance and publication of process documentation and systems.
*The data analysis and reporting experience it will take to support our corporate reporting and audit requirements.
*A commitment to your own knowledge and skills development.
