Job Description

This is a position for a Senior Commercial Officer to work within the Air Systems UK business area and. who will be responsible for the commercial management of agreements, bids and contracts. This is a contractor position for 6 months.

Skills, qualifications & knowledge

* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Produce accurate work with attention to detail.
* The candidate should have an excellent knowledge of SAP.
* Detailed knowledge of terms and conditions (knowledge of DEFCONs would be advantageous)
* Good understanding of the company's processes, including Life Cycle Management, requests for business approvals for tenders and agreements
* Detailed knowledge of Agreements (TAAs/PIAs/NDAs/Teaming Agreements)
* Team player with ability to use initiative.
* Able to seek/obtain positive outcomes, with a strong desire to win business and adopt innovative approaches to winning new business.
* Good time management, ability to produce accurate work and obtain the requisite approvals.

Key responsibility areas

* Responsible for the commercial management of agreements, bids and contracts associated with the Air Systems UK Commercial Area.
Generation/maintenance of complex pricing models for agreement of new pricing and development of price negotiation strategy.
* Development and maintenance of strong customer relationships. (internal and external)
* Adherence to company policy, including obtaining business approvals for tender vets/agreements.
* Demonstrated experience as a domain expert for SAP.
