Remote Position, but attendance at some meetings in or around Atlanta will be required.
We need a graphic designer to help create a graphical interface for D2L. This graphical interface will be focused on 3-5 and 6-8 grade levels. This person will also work closely with the staff developing the Student Orientation Course adding graphical support for this course.
Responsibilities:
- Create Icon Set for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8 graphical interface
- Icons and graphical support for the Student Orientation Course
- Come up with design concepts that fit the client's needs
- Present options for design treatments
- Create final designs, working to a deadline and budget
- Amend designs according to the clients' final comments
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Adobe CS, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, video editing tools, and Responsive design
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Background in K-12 education a plus
- Familiarity with Desire to Learn (D2L) or other Learning Management System a plus
