Senior Network Security Engineer

Description

The primary responsibility is to provide network security customer support in a shared environment supporting multiple customers in an operations support structure. Build, design and support Network Based Security infrastructure to provide security on Mobile devices, laptops, smartphones and mobile handsets. This is a 24X7 environment.

Must be willing to work a determined shift in a environment. Some off-shift rotation, including nights and weekends may be required.

SKILLS:

CRITICAL REQUIRED SKILLS WITH AT LEAST 2-4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE:

• Cisco ASA Firewall
• Checkpoint NG (Next Generation) Firewall experience running on Nokia and Sun platforms
• Security Technology Experience
• Unix (Solaris/Linux)

CRITICAL SKILL REQUIRED WITH AT LEAST 4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE:

• Expert Cisco Router configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Unix entry level experience - at least one year.
• Expert TCP/IP
• Expert Customer Service

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Fortinet Firewall
• Juniper Netscreen Firewall
• Cisco IDS experience
• Expert Blue Coat Proxy
• VPN (Nortel/Cisco)

REQUIRED SECURITY RELATED CERTIFICATIONS:

• Public Trust Clearance

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SECURITY RELATED CERTIFICATIONS:

• CISSP
• All Cisco certifications
• Checkpoint CCSA and/or CCSE
• Nokia and SUN Microsystems
