Job Description:Update economic models for all wells in the business plan
Build new well cases in Aries when AFE's are approved for Statoil WI wells
Generate and update first pass production decline curves to build EUR forecasts in Aries for review by Reservoir engineer
Quality control daily production volumes, pressures, choke sizes, etc
Quality control results imported from analytical software for accuracy against production forecast
Build well cases in Aries for PUD locations to support annual year-end reserve booking activities
Ability to comprehend drilling and completion reports
Support other asset functions when production data, EUR's, or aggregated profiles are requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years experience, preferably with US onshore operations
The position requires strong technical skills, ability to work well with others and a desire to make a difference on potentially large impact opportunities
Very proficient with databasing and the relevant software
Experience in unconventionals with shale gas and/or tight gas plays, is desired
Experience with the Marcellus in particular is a plus
Ability to effectively use well data and production databases (IHS, HPDI etc)
Strong skills in software such as MS Access, Excel, Aries
Familiar with software such as RTA Fekete, OFM, Energy Components, SQL/Oracle databases,
