Description
Our client is looking for an operator/administrator for this role. This will be a re-implementation effort of our Symantec Netbackup environment, utilizing a Symantec 5230 Appliance.
The individual will be responsible for:
- Assessing the new back up infrastructure
- Understanding the retention needs of data
- Inventorying/Analyzing content on the Servers
- Creating Policies in NBU to effectively manage our back up needs
- Document the policy
- Create implementation/cut over plan working with managed services provider
- Implement Vaulting
- Stabilize environment
- Create a site to site replication between two 5230s for DR
