Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
- Providing leadership and guidance in the analysis of Legacy databases(Oracle and Adabas) and the development of mapping and ETL specifications so that the data can be migrated to a new harmonised data store.
- Mentor junior staff in data analysis activities.
- Contribute to the design of newd atabase tables in the harmonised Oracle data store to hold data to be migrated from Legacy systems.
- Perform data profiling on the Oracle and Adabas Legacy databases, and coupled with analysis, document dataq uality issues that exist.
- Work with business data stewards to specify data cleansing requirements.
To be successful your skills and experience will focus on the following;
- Experience in data analysis and modelling
- Extensive hands-on experience in the development of large scale logical data models.
- Extensive hands-on experience in the development ofe nterprise databases.
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience inlarge and complex data migrations.
