An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast growing, international, high tech company as an interim leadership and capability manager. You will be reporting to the Senor Director for Leadership and Capability and will be responsible for ensuring that all employees have the right skills and knowledge to do great things.

The role overview:

  • Overall responsibility for employee development and the development of training programmes.
  • Collaborating with the HR Business Partners to develop and implement bespoke learning and organizational development solutions.
  • Key stakeholder management.
  • Participation in key projects and processes such as employee engagement, performance management, graduate development and talent development.
  • Management of a team of coaches to build employee and manager capability.
  • Participate as a strategic member of the Leadership and Capability team in delivering a great experience for employees.

To be successful you need deep experience in Learning and development and the management of learning and development professionals. Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following:

  • Technical training
  • Soft skills training
  • Leadership development
  • Creative skills development
  • Proven experience in partnering with a high-growth, fast-moving business
  • Sound consulting skills and ability to collaborate to develop solutions
  • Extensive experience in instructional design methodology, adult learning theories and classroom facilitation
  • Ability to coach managers and colleagues
  • Proactive and innovative approach to providing solutions with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills, detail orientation, time management, multi-tasking/must be able to drive projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; credible at every level
  • Experience in learning platforms including web-based and virtual learning, and interest in innovative approaches and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Passion for the development of people
  • Strong leadership skills and proven people management skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Organisational development experience (organisational change, design, culture work)
  • Experience of designing and managing talent process (eg performance management, promotion/succession, graduate and intern recruitment/development)
  • Psychometric qualifications
  • Fluency in a second European language would be a bonus
