My client is seeking an SAP BODS Data Migration Consultant for a short term contract in London. (Extensions highly likely)Purpose of the role:
Design, build and test SAP BODS jobs to extract data from SAP source systems (primarily from ECC) to feed repositories/DBs used by SAP Information Steward.
Responsibilities
*Understand and assess business customer requirements and recommend appropriate BODS technical solution.
*Write technical designs for BODS related developments
*Work with other software development team members to assist any BODS related design and development technical solutions based on business customer requirements.
*Ensure that all SAP related development follows standards for SAP development and complies with Procedures and Policies including audit and validation requirements.
*Responsibility with be delegated from the Software development lead, to perform role of Technical design authority for relevant development deliverables.
*Review and guidance regarding SAP technical design and development to other developers, working with onshore and offshore teams.
*Ensure that development is in line with programme objectives and follows BODS system requirements and BODS programming standards and practices
*Engage with Quality, Risk & Compliance function to ensure that technical design and development is aligned to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
