Description
In general, procurement will lead contract negotiations and audits so strength in organization will go a long way in this role as they will need to juggle a number of projects at one time and they will need to re-prioritize action items regularly.Responsibilities
Influencing business and wider category stakeholders
Developing relationships with senior leadership
Develop a supply base to meet the changing requirements of the category
Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring framework for a strategic contractual relationship with limited risk
Provide subject matter expertise on complex purchasing, technical, legal & contractual issues
Define governance around best practice and purchasing policy
Achieving assigned category targets for cost reduction
Implementing Global Category Strategies
Supplier relationship management and review
SKILLS:
Qualifications
College Degree, Master's Preferred, 3-5 years of experience
Experience working in Procurement or in Software Engineering, preferably with Indirect Software including licensing experience as well as Application Services and Software as a Service.
Experience interfacing with senior leadership
People Management skills
Ability to work across geographies
Experience managing the RFP process for software and technology services
Strong experience managing complex strategic sourcing projects
Experience working in a large complex, Matrix, global business
Microsoft EA renewal, Oracle ERP and related internal use software agreement negotiations
IBM Passport Advantage Agreement
Must have broad experience in indirect Software and Software as a Service to negotiate Enterprise Agreements (Microsoft, Google, etc), IT System related (IBM, Oracle, HP, Security SW, etc), other key suppliers are SalesForce and Informatica.
Experience with software supplier audits is a plus.
