One of our prestigious clients is currently looking for a Euclid System Electrical Engineer to join them on an exciting project. This is a brilliant opportunity to be at the heart of one of the most interesting and important scientific missions under development.The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of the electrical development of the instrument, in the UK, France, Switzerland and Italy. The role will also include the planning, oversight and in some cases, execution of the testing and verification across the consortium institutes. The System Electrical Engineer will also coordinate the design, development and verification of developed electronics.
A first degree in electronic engineering or equivalent qualification, a strong background in the design of digital electronics systems, a high level of competence with low noise analogue signal conditioning electronics and a strong background in the engineering of complex equipment to tight specifications is essential.
The successful candidate should also have the ability to co-ordinate design, development and testing activities for a team of scientists and engineers.
