IT Technician

First month based in Paris, France, the remainder based in Qingdao, China

IT Technician to organize, plan & manage all the IT activities related to installation, commissioning & IT integration tests of the computerized systems listed in the IS logical architecture document. 

Pre-Requisites for IT Technician:

Good solid Oil & Gas facility projects background and at least 5 years' experience in IT architecture design & IT infrastructure deployment, commissioning, testing & start-up.
Good experience in computerized systems used for operations
Knowledge in IT architecture (networking, Firewalls, hardware virtualization) IT standards, data security on large project scale.

IT Technician duties & responsibilities:

Verify that each system is in compliance with Company's standards wrt IT & data security

Coordinate the Vendor on boarding process with CPY. Follow the systems already identified & work with other discipline to identify new entries.

Ensure the use of a common procedure for testing the proper integration of each system in the final IT architecture & the fulfilment of the IT standards

Provide day-to-day focal point for project support

Organize & coordinate the testing activities with reference to the document fLNG Systems Integration Test Plan.

Will be the focal point with CPY for all technical topics related to IT architecture, IT standards & installation/integration testing of all relevant  systems in the final IT architecture.

Will work closely with Commissioning personnel, equipment Supplier & Company to expedite problem resolutions & elevate problems & concerns to the proper levels of Supplier &/or Management for problem resolution.

Initiate & validate modification to the IT architecture, as & when required.

Responsible for safety, safe working practices & environmental issues in all activities under his control. 

Candidates must be able to speak fluent English and Chinese Mandarin
