Senior Finance Controller
Senior Finance Controller required by leading global retail company to their finance department to work alongside the IT department and authorities, performing financial tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
- securing financial structures in required tools
- bookkeeping and transactions in the financial systems as well as supporting other systems
- closing the books and supporting systems
- reconciliation across systems, securing correct information
- handling supplier invoices in cooperation with the business support centure
- providing training in financial matters to stakeholders within the IT Delivery department
- consolidating information and providing financial reports to the IT Delivery business navigators, line organisation, other companies and authorities
- providing information in tax audits and supporting the IT Delivery department in financial legal matters
- actively suggesting and supporting improvement activities in the finance area
- financial analysis on a detailed level
Requirements:
- at least 1 years' experience in controlling/accounting area
- experience of controlling/accounting of IT operation
- Bachelor degree in accounting/controlling or equivelant
- experience in accounting application
- extensive knowledge of financial systems
- understanding of the profit and loss structure
- knowledge of accounting and controlling methodologies
- knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- some knowledge of IT
- fluency in written and spoken English
