We are seeking an experienced professional to join a highly reputable ethics and compliance program, on a contract or contract to hire basis. The right applicant will have the ability and experience to administer a world class compliance and ethics program by building and overseeing a number of existing and new projects. This position will be located in San Francisco, CA.

You will support and collaborate with many of the leaders of the Compliance and Ethics, including the SVP and Senior Director of Global Compliance and Ethics. You will work collaboratively with other leaders within GCE. You must successfully build, maintain and strategically influence relationships across all areas of the company (with a particular focus on other corporate functions such as the Law Department, IT, corporate security, Information security and Business Unit compliance functions), and with external consultants and vendors. You will use your superior project management skills and be proficient at multitasking and prioritization to be successful in this role. Being technically savvy and proficient in all technology and information systems with which you will be working is very important. It will also be necessary to display appropriate sensitivity to the often confidential nature of the work. It is essential that you be of unquestionable integrity.

Finally, you will be expected to obtain approval for, and implement, continuous improvement of the programs you manage. This person will need to motivate people, build consensus and ultimately achieve timely results.

4+ years experience in Compliance & Ethics, or related field, such as Information Security or Privacy
  • Experience in Policy Management
  • Excellent project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in Vendor Management
  • Experience with building/overseeing IT Tools/Controls
  • Must be highly skilled in taking complex data and simplifying for targeted audiences.
  • Ability to develop work plans to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other web based applications
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience in a large institutional setting (healthcare industry preferred but not required.)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and people skills with ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Undergraduate degree with an advanced degree preferred.
