Integrated Change Control Manager (ICC)

Description

A Renewable Energy client is looking for an Integrated Change Control Manager (ICC) to start in August 2014 on a one year initial freelance contract. The individual will be responsible for planning the Integrated Change Control (ICC) for the project and set-up of the Change Control System and implement and drive ICC in the project in compliance with the WIND policies. Also tp facilitate the impact analysis process and follow up on agreed changes, support management in change request decision making and oversee Change communication process, Drive CCB meetings and communicate status, results and decisions

Tasks:

ICC Initiation and Planning
Establish the plan and strategy for Integrated Change Control (ICC) for the project and calibrate the process to the needs of the project, taking into account project objectives project size and structure and the current phase
Establish the ICC structure in the project (set up tool for change log, change request forms variation order form)
Identify location of baselines in co-operation with the Records Manager
Define the projects Change Control Board, including definition of the ICC governance and related hierarchical structure in the programme/project (RACI, decision limits per management level)
Ensure that all relevant project managers, contract managers and records managers understand their role within change control and responsibility
Inform the project participants about the established ICC process

ICC Execution, monitoring & control & closing
Identify which deliverables are base-lined and made subject for change control
Ensure formulation of change requests when a change need arises to a given baseline
Ensure correct stakeholder identification and involvement in change request analysis
Plan and drive the Integrated Change Control process in the project (estimation, impact assessment, risk assessment, scheduling, HSE impact, decision making)
Communicate change request decisions and plans to all relevant stakeholders
Ensure that the change log is up-to-dated
Track-to-closure of change requests/variation orders
Change Control Reporting

Education/Certification:
BSc/MSc or other relevant degree. Competence equivalent PMI-PMP
Recommended 5 years of experience from similar position, with understanding of projects and stakeholder management, project Matrix
Recommended 3 years of experience within WIND and or Construction
Recommended 3 years of experience working in similar position

The Consultant must bring his own mobile telephone. The client will provide access to their systems via computer access. The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space
