A global pharmaceutical organisation, based in the UK, is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their new build project. The role of the Project Manager will be to manage and co-ordinate the transition of the laboratory equipment from the old to new site.The Role
•To manage the specific project relating to the refurbishment of the site, including the implementation of the project plan details from design to handover.
•To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations, including completion of all GMP commitments to plan - specifically relating to the accuracy of project documentation.
•To operate in a matrix organisation, driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that the project is delivered.
•Understanding of scientists/teams needs
•Manage what equipment needs can be transferred and any new equipment that needs to be purchased
•Liaise with design and construction team to make sure new equipment fits in to new facility and all services required are in place
•Work on timings to transfer equipment from existing facility to new and continuity of work
Experience:
•Extensive experience of working within the pharmaceutical sector, working within laboratories environment/ equipment
•A proven track record in delivery of complex cross-functional projects
•Experienced practitioner of good project management practices
•Able to forge good relationships with project members in a matrix organisation, where the project manager does not have line management responsibilities
•The job-holder must be a highly self-motivated and energised individual with strong drive and reputation for on time delivery, able to present complex material in a succinct manner appropriate to support prompt decision making
