A healthcare provider based in the Sonoma area is now recruiting for an eClinicalWorks analyst.

The eClincalWorks Applications Analyst serves as the expert resource and main conduit between the internal clinical community and the information technology applications, technical, and analytics services teams for all eClinicalWorks Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Practice Management systems (PMS), and modular problems and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*Conduct clinical/business process analysis, needs assessments and related analysis specific to clinic and business operations.
*Develop new workflows, and evaluate software functionality as it pertains to users and operations.
*Provide end-user application support.
*Designs, develops and implements regulatory compliant application solutions and process flows for the clinical community.
*Evaluates and prioritizes requests for system enhancements and provides timetables for completion.
*Meets with Information technology management to discuss the status of the clinical community and their needs..
*Interacts with end users to monitor application utilization.
*Works with application vendors to perform software installations, validation, configuration and troubleshooting.
*Conducts end user application orientation and training.
*Establishes and maintains complete and detailed application configuration and maintenance and support documentation as well as user guides and reference manuals.
*Creates maintains, and modifies naming, user accounts, role based security schemas, user level preferences, etc.

Education/Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and or business management
*3+ years of experience supporting and implementing EHR/EMR solutions
*3+ years of eClinicalWorks software knowledge
*3+ years Clinical or ancillary training and workflow knowledge
*Experience in conducting problem analysis, feasibility studies, system design and implementation.
*Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization while providing excellent customer service required.
*Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, presentation, database, spreadsheet and email programs.
*Ability to maintain organizational and patient confidentiality.
*Knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
*Ability to work in a consultative approach with users in assessing needs and requirements.
