We are urgently looking for an Oracle EBS DBA Performance Expert with the following skills:Oracle ERP Performance Expert, Oracle ERP, Oracle, ERP, Oracle E-business,
Oracle Database, OAF (Oracle Application Framework)
The main objective of this role is to assist the customer with performance improvements of the ERP production systems, identifying and provide sustainable recommendations for crashes, identify Java and SQL code issues, investigate the database and server infrastructure related to performance and make any recommendations that should go across the board (applications and infrastructure), and produce a list of concrete actions.
Background
1. Customer is having some problems with system performance issues and the system crashes on their Oracle E-business Release 12.1.3 production environment.
2. A number of significant performance improvement initiatives have already taken place with the
assistance of consultancy firms on selected modules within the ERP production system.
In addition, the Solution Delivery teams with the assistance of the DBA team have identified
and fixed over 300 performance issues, mainly slow SQL queries, since January 2012, however there are still further performance issues to be tackled and the system crashing issues still need to be resolved
3. Therefore the customer has set up a production performance support team and the role of this team is to
identify performance issues which are believed to be caused by Java code and SQL statements,
isolate them and report them to the development team with solutions on how to correct any bad code
4. Customer is looking for a team of very experienced Oracle ERP performance experts who will be
responsible for the tasks outlined above.
