Senior Voice Engineer

Long Term (6months +) Contract Engagement, start mid August

Brisbane - CBD, based on Client site

Our client excels in aligning IT systems with the business goals of large to medium Government, education and corporate clients across Australia and overseas.

The role will involve assisting with all aspects of the design, planning, build and participation in Cisco UC project solutions.  This is a hands on design, build, transition and maintain role.

You will:

Develop detailed implementation plans in conjunction with Project Managers for UC solutions to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions.

Provide technical leadership in the execution of project implementation and transition. 

Work with implementation teams requiring voice/systems/network design and implementation support.

Work closely with project managers and share major responsibility in managing customer expectations at the outset of projects.

Provide technical guidance to the project team and customers.

Design and build a Cisco UC solution with multiple endpoints in numerous sites. 

Design and build high availability call routing at various sites, from branches to Call Centres.

Ensure systems availability, integrity and security.

Provide business continuity and improvement from transition to implementation.

You have: 

IT/business qualifications, together with relevant industry experience (CCVP/CCIE)

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills 

Ability in to work in a team environment and autonomously 

Knowledge of a broad range of Cisco voice products, analysis, troubleshooting, call flows, Scripting and alarms

Extensive experience in voice infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning and service impact

Detailed knowledge and experience in Cisco UC & Gateway

Detailed knowledge and experience in Call Manager, UCCE, CVP 

Detailed knowledge and experience in Cisco Call Centre Reporting 

You will have an extensive technical background and be highly Cisco certified. CCIE Voice preferred, CCIE R&Sw if you have extensive Voice project experience.

Skills in Cisco UC solutions across a range of data and voice (specifically voice) related technologies, coupled with recent experience with VOIP, Contact Centre Technologies, Cisco Call Manager and other IP Tel solutions will make you stand out from other applicants.
