Client Reporting Analyst - London - Fund Management
Leading fund manager in the City are currently seeking an experienced Client Reporting Analyst for a contract opportunity, 8mths initially with possibility of extension.
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Competencies
- Previous Client Reporting experience within a tier 1 or 2 fund manager
- Degree level education (or equivalent) desirable.
- High standard of written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- A broad understanding of financial markets and instruments.
- Knowledge of valuation reconciliations, corporate actions and performance & risk measurement.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
- SQL Server knowledge and experience desirable but not essential.
You will be responsible for
- Work closely with Head of Client Reporting to enhance the centralised reporting process.
- Create added client reporting value to boutiques to prove team value and professionalism.
- Sense check data for accuracy. Correct fund manager commentary for grammatical errors. Ensure commentary is relevant to data within investment reviews. Ensure consistency across the group.
- Challenge data integrity for consistency and accuracy.
- Cross train with other areas within operations and time permitting become more involved with these functions on a BAU basis.
- Continually challenge the status quo to improve and evolve current and proposed processes.
