My client, a large public sector organisation, is currently looking for a Senior Training Specialist to join their team in Bristol. The role holder will report in to the Learning and Development Transformation manager. The candidate will be expected to develop an in depth understanding of the business and to engage with senior stakeholders in order to do this.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and delivery of a future Learning and Development strategy to align with the L&D transformation programme
  • Development and implementation of a Apprenticeship Strategy
  • Development of standards and competencies to align with the company's Training, Education & Skills Project
  • Development of a skills and qualification strategy to underpin the L&D transformation programme.
  • Implementation and embedding of a continuous professional development framework into the newly merged organisation.
  • Deliver a talent management strategy and co-ordinate the senior team development programme.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Substantial experience in an L&D Management position, in particular demonstrating the development and delivery of Learning and Development strategies and transformation programmes.
  • A background in delivering a variety of Learning and Development Solutions and strategies across a diverse organization
  • The ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively to design and implement skills development interventions that meet the future business needs.

The role is for an initial 6 month contract paying up to £310/day.
