Senior SoC Design Engineer

Our client is looking for a talented SoC designer to join their rapidly expanding company that have maintained a position as world leaders in the Semiconductor industry.

We are looking for a Senior SoC Design Engineer to create and implement RTL through to the final stages of SoC development. In essence your duties will involve the creation through to implementation of SoC platforms, using silicon to integrate the IP onto the SoC, and then subsequently validating and testing the design.

Required Skills Include:

-Experience with RTL Design and verification in VHDL.

-Familiarity with digital hardware design.

-A good understanding of Verification techniques and methodology.

-A track record of SoC design and integration, with reference to the development of all stages of the product lifecycle.

-Chip validation using Cadence simulation, Cadence Emulation and FPGA prototyping.

-An in-depth understanding of design and flow automation.

Desirable Skills:

-Familiarity with Lab techniques and diagnostics tools.

-Expertise within ASIC,FPGA or PLD design

-Advanced verification techniques such as self-checking testbenches, constrained random verification, System C, and System Verilog.

-A proven track record of working on SoC design, optimisation techniques and high speed circuit design.

Qualification Required:

BSc/MSc in electronic engineering, computing, or equivalent within subject that has a strong computing component.
