An exciting new Product Manager opportunity has arisen to join a global market leading company who has invested significantly in R&D over the past few years. They have an exciting portfolio of customers from the likes of NASA, JLR to Formula One companies and many others.

Role Overview:

Working with key external sources and internal stakeholders to determine, define and drive the product roadmap to develop the vibration test systems value offering for customers and improve profit for the business.

To take a product leadership position within the VTS business, to establish market requirements trends and future opportunities, enabling the definition of appropriate new technologies, products, enhancements and solutions to be formulated.

To act as a focus for sales, marketing, marcoms and the VTS business to develop external communication collateral, sales and pricing strategies, deliver seminar and conference material and support exhibition and promotional activities.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Ideally from a vibration system or environmental test market background
  • Proven track record of successfully taking capital equipment & systems to market
  • Capital equipment market - fully appreciates the value of service, the product lifecycle management and able to identify value-add revenue streams.
  • Good working knowledge of financial and business analysis appropriate to product development, market sizing and competitive initiatives
  • Anticipate customer demands through excellent knowledge of customer business
  • Understands and translates market requirements into product features and benefits relevant to customer and business value
  • Understands how to communicate brand strategy
  • Able to explain our offerings to customers in a language they understand, articulating technical solutions to complex problems in customer-friendly terms
  • Ideally field sales, services and projects experience
