My client is in the public sector and have been going over 20 years.They are now looking for a Development manager to manage a team of .net developers.This is still a majority hands-on role using ASP.Net MVC and C#.This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within a company that offer cutting edge technology in a friendly environment.
The Role:
-Ensure accuracy and timeliness of projects. Provide input into performance review process.
-Assign tasks and serve as mentor to other development staff.
-Participate in all software release and system life cycle activities in accordance with applicable policy and procedures.
-Track software tools and techniques, and recommend development approaches and software/hardware upgrades to maximize usefulness of system.
-Design, code, implement and maintain web-based business applications.
-Develop and present recommendations for future choices.
-Research and evaluate system design elements, trade-offs and rationale. Identify and assess risks.
You will have:
-Extensive experience in Web Application Development
-Broad experience working with ASP.NET, MVC, C#
-Must have demonstrated expert level skills using MS.Net Framework 3.5 and above, C#, SQL Server, Web Services, HTML5.
