Financial Accountant - Aberdeen - Oil & GasFinancial Accountant required to translate commercial arrangements into hydrocarbon revenue recognition for an international energy business, initially on a 4 month contract.
Overview of role
Financial Accountant to finalise the work on hydrocarbon revenue accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. It is a 4 month contract role based in Aberdeen, with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered (Management) Accountant with a robust experience in oil and gas industry.
Key accountabilities
* Working with production and commercial departments to translate commercial arrangements into hydrocarbon revenue recognition
* Validating the sales points and closing stocks for hydrocarbon products based on the commercial information
* Finalising the balance sheet reconciliations of working capital section (legacy balances)
* Internal Control compliance
What we are looking for
* Qualified Chartered Management Accountant
* Highly analytical
* Numerate with good problem solving skills
* Commercially aware in the following areas: Hydrocarbon Production, Sales and Upstream Revenue accounting
