Infrastructure Engineer, Dublin, Eu275, contract, 3 weeks initially, W2008, AD, VMW, SBS.
Our client is looking for a server engineer to participate in a client upgrade project just outside of Dublin.
The infrastructure is virtualised using VMWare and a review of the current implementation will be the first part of the project.
Once familariased, you will be required to reinstate a VM Node for DR, and implement a new node for back up, then implement a backup regime using Veeam.
The VM production environment will need to be migrtated to the required version and attached storage tested.
Upgrade from SBS 2003 to suitable version subject to health check, Exchange 2003 and AD 2003 all to be upgraded subject to healthcheck.
Once the server infrastructure has been upgraded successfully, the Desktop environment will also be replaced.
