A leading retail bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager.
Purpose of the Programme
The Commercial Manager(s) will join a team with accountability for end to end commercial oversight for provision of transitional services by this Retail Bank to divested financial entities. The role of the Commercial Manager is to support optimisation of the overall commercial position and manage resolution of disputes and claims.
Role Accountabilities
- Commercial management of IT and Operational service contracts provided on a transitional basis to divested financial entities
- Review and approval of client change project work orders
- Analysis and approval of service credit payments
- Recording, analysis and management of formal dispute resolution (run and change)
- Analysis and resolution of liability claims
- Demand forecast review and management
- Management of periodic service charging reviews
- Development of commercial propositions
Core Skills
- Excellent collaborative skills with ability to influence and work with diverse stakeholders in a Matrix environment
- Significant role in major outsourcing contracts as a part of provider or client team
- Practical deployment of complex contracts for IT and business services
- Demonstrable experience of managing client claims and resolving disputes
- Practical experience of commercial financial management
- Experience of solving process problems across a complex organisation
- Able to convert uncertainty and ambiguity into a clarity and appropriate action
- Coordination and persuasion skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Excellent oral and written communication
