Investment Guideline Manager (Contract, Bank, 6m+)

My client is a well respected global bank located in Zurich. They are looking for an Investment Guideline Manager responsible for the implementation of client guidelines, regulatory restrictions and internal strategy rules in the compliance systems with extensive industry-experience. The project length will be at least 6 months up to several years. The start-date is TBD and definitely within the next 2 months.

Tasks:
  • Interpreting guidelines and builds logic based rules for automated compliance testing and monitoring
  • Preparing for account on-boarding by requesting set up of accounts in various systems
  • Reviewing new and existing rules to ensure compliance with account mandates
  • Coordinating dates to ensure guideline rules are coded effectively prior to any trades taking place
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned workload
  • Managing accurate guideline coding in various systems


Requirements:
  • Working experience in either Asset Management or Investment Banking
  • Vast knowledge in the relevant area
  • Financial product knowledge of fixed income, equities and derivatives preferred
  • Strong organization, time management, communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in a process and drive change
  • Understanding of risk and controls
  • Ideally knowledge with guideline coding in compliance systems e.g. Charles River, MIG21
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
