Description
Responsibilities:* create a mobile device testing strategy
* implement best practices for mobile device testing
* execute the mobile device strategy/plan to ensure the smooth rollout of phones and tablets into the company's environment
* explore automation test tools for mobile devices; recommend and implement the tools
* produce and present testing-related reports and information, such as requirement-based coverage, and trends
* analyze the impact of a change from a testing perspective, including time, cost and risk
* prepare testing estimates that incorporate all of the activities that are required to effectively test the system involved
* research, evaluate and recommend tools and services that support or improve testing
* participate in testing functions in other areas of the institution, including manual testing efforts and automation efforts, based on demand and requirements as well as on QA Systems analysis
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline and 3 years of relevant mobile device experience
* strong written and verbal communication skills
* three or more years of experience in testing mobile phones (BlackBerry and iPhone) and tablets (iPad and Windows)
* experience with test automation tools in general, and specifically with mobile test automation tools
* experience managing multiple and often conflicting tasks
* strong analytical skills
