Description
Our direct client is in need of a Senior level IT Quality Assurance analyst at their Omaha, NE location for a 6 month project (with extensions HIGHLY likely).Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing requirements with developers and other QAs for consistency and accuracy
- Creating, maintaining, and executing test plan, test scenarios and cases against complex software, primarily inputs are requirement documents and logic extracts
- Executing complex SQL to ensure data is persisted correctly in databases
- Determining test data needed for execution and identify data gaps in test environment
- Designing, developing, testing and executing automated tests using QuickTest Professional or Unified Functional Testing
Required:
- 5+ years experience with all types of software testing including functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance
- 5+ years experience testing .NET and Java applications
- Solid experience with software technologies including: HTML, XML, Java, and .NET
- Solid experience with MS SQL databases
- Minimum 3 years automated testing using HP Unified Functional Testing is required
- Must be able to write HP UFT automated scripts using descriptive programming
- Must have VBScripting experience
Plusses:
- Advanced knowledge of the software automation process including the ability to create traditional testing artifacts including test plans and test scripts.
- Knowledge of Agile scrum development method and how Quality Assurance participates in this process
- Experience with hosting requirements and test scenario reviews with developers, other QAs, and project stakeholders including project managers and product owners
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
