Location: Luxembourg
A UNIX Administrator/UNIX Engineer is required for a large scale IT Infrastructure transformation programme for our client based in Luxembourg. This is a high profile/prestigious programme in the Benelux region working with a global and well respected IT Consultancy. Initial 6 months freelance contract - very likely to be extended.
As a UNIX Administrator/UNIX Engineer you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Red Hat Certified Engineer - RHCE - Desirable
- Unix operating systems - Red Hat Linux /Solaris
- Experience in cluster solutions (SUN Cluster)
- Good Scripting skills (Shell/Perl)
- Good understanding of Unix related industry initiatives (open source tools like Nagios, CFEngine, SVN repository, Munin)
- Experience in design architecture and documentation
